ABOUT THE EVENT

Adult Studio Class | Exploring the Art and Design of the Bauhaus with Fritz Horstman

 — 

Exhibition curator and Josef and Anni Albers Foundation Education Director, Fritz Horstman, will lead a four-part, hands-on class based on the legendary curriculum of the Bauhaus German School of Art and Design, where Anni Albers both studied and taught. The focus will be on drawing, textile, color, and texture.

Fritz Horstman has worked with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation since 2004 where he has served as Education Director. He has lectured and taught workshops at MoMA, the Whitney, the Dessau Bauhaus, the Royal Academy of Art, Harvard, Yale, Princeton and more. Horstman's writing has been published by Harvard University, The Royal Academy of Art, The Bauhaus Archive, and others.
