Adult Studio Workshop | Sketch with the Masters

Join artist Kathleen Smits in a “Sketch with the Masters” workshop by looking, observing, and drawing in front of Frederick Church's West Rock. Learn basic techniques with pencil and paper to create shape, form, texture, light, and shadow. Explore the landscape paintings of the Hudson River School artists in the Martin Gallery. We will also discuss the use of space and proportion as it relates to composition. All skill levels are welcome.
