ABOUT THE EVENT

Family Day | Imaginative Drawing

In celebration of the opening of NEW/NOW: Shantell Martin, the Museum is offering a fun-filled day for friends and families to enjoy together.

Visitors can participate in activities inspired by the contemporary artist's work, such as personalizing apparel with hand-drawn designs, in the American Savings Foundation Art & Education Center Studios and collaborate on a large-scale, imaginative drawing activity.

At 1 and 3 p.m., snack on some popcorn while watching a screening of the animated film Harold and the Purple Crayon, based on the 1955 children's book.
