Fryderyk Chopin Society | Presenting Jay Hershberger

The NBMAA is thrilled to partner with the Fryderyk Chopin Society of Connecticut to bring visitors classical music performances from world-renowned pianists.

This April, Jay Hershberger will perform a collection of select classical works on the piano, including Schubert G major Sonata, D. 894 and a Chopin group: Intermezzo No. 3 in G-flat major, Op. 51; the Polonaise-Fantasie in A-flat major, Op. 61; and Ballade No. 3 in A-flat major, Op. 47.

Pianist Jay Hershberger has played throughout the United States and Canada, including the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Library of Congress. He has performed across the globe, most notably, at the Great Romantics Music Festival in Canada, across Europe, and in multiple cities across China. He previously served as Visiting Assistant Professor of Piano at Arizona State University.
