Join Museum Docent Barbara Smith for an in-depth discussion focused around women's fashion choices as depicted in portraits of the Museum's permanent collection from the colonial period to the gilded age. Smith will explore design by occasion, the available fabrics and construction methods, and how the silhouette shifted through the decades.
