Modern/Contemporary

Using our current exhibition, The Beyond: Georgia O’Keeffe and Contemporary Art as inspiration, Museum educators will examine the differences between modern and contemporary art.

Although the two are often used interchangeably, this class will highlight the key characteristics that makes each genre unique.

In the studio, students will create their own contemporary masterpieces inspired by O’Keeffe to bring home with them.
