Homeschool Day | Still Lifes

Join us for a Homeschool Day focusing on still lifes. Guided by one of our Museum docents, students will explore the galleries where they will take a closer look at some of the still lifes from our collection. Then, in the American Savings Foundation Art and Education Center studios, participants will examine, analyze, and draw from a composition containing fruit, instruments, utensils, a skeleton, and more! With so many options to choose from, students will not only have fun exploring the drawing subjects, but will learn about the importance of line, form, and negative space.
