Online Photo-Collage Workshop

Museum artist Rashmi Talpade, who specializes in large format townscapes created collaboratively in community settings will conduct an online collage workshop via Zoom.

In the changed circumstances due to the pandemic induced social distancing, she can now bring her skills to an expanded community nation-wide where participants will work on individual projects under her guidance via Zoom. The workshop will provide an enjoyable, safe setting where individuals of various levels of art experience will be welcomed to benefit from exchange of ideas and conversation about their own work and the artist’s works. So relax with a glass of wine or a favorite snack as you create your own masterpiece along with like-minded individuals. Starter kits consisting of photo prints from the artists own collection of images from around the world, New Britain neighborhoods and works of art from the NBMAA permanent collection will be available for pick up from the museum. If you cannot make it to the museum, five images will be emailed out for you to print out. 

Participants are encouraged to use their own photographs, magazine cuttings, found objects or any materials of their choice as well.

Instructor will communicate via email in between sessions for suggestions and encouragement.
