Special Concert Presentation: Counterpoint and Line in Art and Music: Sol LeWitt and the Interplay of Forms, Part II

Part II of our Sol LeWitt exhibition-themed music events. Pianist Neely Bruce, the John Spencer Camp Professor of Music at Wesleyan University, will present a solo piano performance. Professor Bruce is a scholar of American music and composer of over 800 works.

  • Aria, with variations in the Italian manner, by J. S. Bach
  • Friendly Fugues for Laurie Frenzel, Alec McLane, Carver Blanchard, and Robert Carl, composed by Neely Bruce (World Premiere)
  • Four Preludes and Fugues from The Well-Tempered Clavier, (Book One), by J.S Bach.
  • F# major and minor; A major and A minor
