Mini Installation Art

In May, students aged 11–13 will explore the mindset of an installation artist and experience the brainstorming, planning, and creation of their own mini-installation works.

Drawing inspiration from The Beyond exhibiting artists Louise Jones, Molly Larkey, and Pearl Hsiung, students will create mini installation pieces within the confines of a model gallery space. Using paper boxes measuring 17 x 11 x 11 in., students will create their own gallery, and then design a site-specific installation work using materials such as cut paper, fabric, wood, and recycled materials.

Preregistration is required and students must be registered prior to the first class.
