Studio@4 | Photograms

Studio@4 exposes kids ages 9-12 to various art-making processes and techniques. Join us on Thursdays from 4-5:30 p.m. each month to work with different guest artists and master a new medium!

In this studio’s lesson, students will learn how photographers use light, shadow, and silhouette to capture or create an image. Students will then make photograms of their own, experimenting with the ways that a photo can be altered by light. They can also experiment with how photo composition changes by application of heat or pressure. The final project may consist of a series of photograms that tell a story or have a theme.
