ABOUT THE EVENT
Sunday Music Series | Julie Ribchinsky and Linda Laurent
The NBMAA’s longstanding monthly concert series features local & regional performances from a variety of musical genres.
Cellist Julie Ribchinsky and pianist Linda Laurent present an eclectic program comprising sonatas by J.S. Bach and César Franck, as well as solos by Franz Schubert and Cuban-American Pulitzer Prize winning composer Tania León. Performing together since 1982, Ribchinsky and Laurent were core members of the Chamber Players at Trinity and The Connecticut Trio - with concerts at Hartford’s Belding Theater, New York’s Weill Hall, Wave Hill and Landon Gallery - and recorded for Albany Records. This concert marks the 29th season of their musical association with the New Britain Museum of American Art.
