Black History Month | Live Reading & Character Workshop by Children’s Author Akintunde Sogunro

Hit children’s author and New Britain local, Akin “Tunde” Sogunro will present a live Zoom reading of his book Mama Stitches, followed by an interactive character workshop and Q&A geared towards kids ages 8-12. Tunde will share his love of theater, language, and imagery to inspire participants to develop their own storytelling talents starting by making a magical character! Additionally, each participant will be entered in a raffle to win a copy of Mama Stitches.
