ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

American Art in New Britain: The Evolution of the NBMAA

Maximilian E. and Marion O. Hoffman Foundation Gallery

In conjunction with New Britain’s sesquicentennial year and the recent reopening of the NBMAA’s restored Landers House, the Museum will present a special year-long installation entitled American Art in New Britain: The Evolution of the NBMAA. The installation will comprise historical images and artworks from the permanent collection, that trace the NBMAA’s rich history and unique identity as an American art museum in New Britain.
