Special Exhibitions

Presented by Museum curators, peek behind the scenes of our special exhibitions with virtual walkthroughs of Kara Walker: Harper's Pictorial History of the Civil War (Annotated)and In Thread and On Paper: Anni Albers in Connecticut. For the first time, the Museum is also pleased to present complete digital archives of past exhibitions, including American Post-Impressionists: Maurice and Charles Prendergast.

Outdoor Garden Sculpture Tour

Enjoy the wonder of American Art even when the NBMAA is closed! Located next to 100-acre Walnut Hill Park, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the NBMAA is a perfect spot to stop by on your stroll through the park.
